Grammer is an important problem for both language learning and language teaching. The complexity of Chinese grammer is out of question, especially the Verb-Object LIHECI. It is important for Chinese teaching and is also a difficult problem. The aim of this study is for foreign students to master the use of it faster and better, and to improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching. Therefore, foreign students, especially the Vietnam students can master it better. Toward this aim, we studied the common errors appeared during the course of learning, summarized the general types of the errors and found the reasons and the teaching strategies against the errors. We had also found the acquisition order and developmental sequence of the 22 kinds of LIHECI of Vietnam students based on statistic analysis.Firstly, this paper indicated the reasons of writing and the importance of the study. Then, it defined what LIHECI is and some other concepts about it and summarized the present study and status of LIHECI. It also showed the theories and the results of the study on this problem. We summarized 22 types of errors of the Verb-Object LIHECI of the Vietnam students and decided the methods and the study scope of this paper. Then we introduced the aim, methods, content and objects of the study, and set up the standard of errors. In the investigation, we studied the acquisition condition of Verb-Object LIHECI of 180 female Vietnam university students in form of 6 types (22 sub-types). And we studied the acquisition order and developmental sequence of the 22 types of Verb-Object LIHECI of the Vietnam students based on those data. We had also analyzed the reasons, including: first language negative transfer, the interference of the target language, the insuffiency of explanation and so on. We also indicated some teaching strategies against them. At the end, we offered some advices. We hope this paper can be helpful for both the study and teaching of Verb-Object LIHECI of the Vietnam students.
