According to the relevant requirement of the current subsurface safety valve performance test, we design a test system jointly controlled by computer and programmable logic controller. The system is of great significance to improve the subsurface safety valve test accuracy, efficiency and automation level.Firstly of all, the working principle of subsurface safety valve is analyzed and the subsurface safety valve test is studied, on the basis of which we determine the requirements of technical parameters which the experimental system needs to be met. Secondly, based on the modular concept, we design a whole set of SSSV test system, mainly composed of hydraulic control system and liquid comprehensive test system, including test rig structure and measurement of control respectively. Thirdly, this paper includes the design principle of the system, and the performance analysis and selective investigation of main components. Based on the Lab VIEW and PLC, the control system can accomplish hydraulic control class test and flow test class test. The system enjoys the functions of the testing process control, data collection and analysis, test report automatic generation and the advantages of a friendly interface and a high degree of automation.Through the on-the-spot scene debug and various test projects, it has been proved that the test system can achieve expected results and satisfy the test requirement, and the procedure is simple and convenient.
