As major coal production equipment, mining machinery plays an important role in coalproduction, especially in mechanized mining. In order to ensure safety of coal mineproduction and efficient operation of equipment, based on the National Safe Productionindustry standards, coal mine safety regulations, coal mine equipment safety inspection andtesting specification, this paper develops the mining machinery equipment safety testingintegrated virtual instruments based on PXI bus, using advanced modern testing technology.In this paper, coal mining machinery as the main target, the study identifies the keyparameters to be detected. The focus of the study is to analyze the existing problems in testingmethods, and determine the test method of the main parameters. As the hardware platformPXI bus was applied in this paper, by comprehensive analysis the advantages anddisadvantages of the various scheme, selecting the appropriate sensor, conditioning circuits,and data acquisition boards. For the multi-object and multi-parameter measurementrequirements, with the LabVIEW software as the development tool, this paper carries out aresearch on the implementation of three programming methods of process-oriented,object-oriented and component-oriented, developing an coal mining machinery safety testingintegrated virtual instrument software, to achieve detection and analysis of mine ventilator,belt conveyors, hoists, air compressors and pumps and other equipment major parameters.Thesis analyses the static characteristic of instruments, get-ting static characteristic indicatorsof the instrument. Mine machinery equipment safety testing integrated virtual instrument wascompleted the main parameters tested experiments on the belt conveyor and the fanexperimental platform, the result showed that that the instrument can meet the multi-device,multi-parameter test requirements, with high level of integration, intelligence and automation.
