The Clinical Effect Of Needing Jia Ji Points On Treating Spastic Paralysis Post-Stroke

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of needing Jia ji Points on treating spastic paralysis post-stroke.Methods:Before the treatment, according to the evaluation of Ashworth Spasticity Scale, we divided the 60 cases into 3 grades: mild, moderate and severe。Than the patients in the same grade was randomly divided into the elcetro-acupuncture at Jiaji treatment group and the traditional-acupuncture group. All the Patients were treated one time a day, six days a week. A Period of treatment was 4weeks.We evaluated every case according to the following items before the treatment and after the Period of treatment:Ashworth Spasticity Scale and Clinical Spasticity Index for assess spasticity. Brunstrom degree for motorperformance. Barthel Index for assess the ability of daily life.Result:After one course of treatment, (1) Through the Ashworth,The difference between two groups was Significant. (2)The scores of Brunstrom degree were. Very significant between two groups.(3) Barthel Index and Neuronal Damage Assess were very significant between two groups.Conelusion:Electro-acupuncture at Jiaji can alleviate spasticity, accelerate the recovery of motor Performance, improve the ability of daily life.
