The Design And Implementation Of The General Situation Information System Based On NewMap

With the spread construction of digital city in the national scale, constructing a GeneralSituation Information System for the city become very necessary, it can provide a real-time andstable geographic information services to the government departments, this greatly promote theextensive use of geographic information resources. The General Situation Information Systemcan provide basic, public application services and expand spaces for various special application,so more and more departments urgent need to build special systems which havethemselves-characteristics based on the General Situation Information System.By taking “Digital Binzhou General Situation Information System” as background, thispaper has a systematic, deep and complete study on the general situation information system.(1) Based on the NewMap software, this paper studies the framework designs of the generalSituation information system for digital city, presents a design scheme which has four-layerframework: data layer, service layer, application layer and user layer, lays the theoreticfoundation for system framework.(2) WebGIS is the initial stage of geographic information service, the development ofnetwork geographic information applications has gone from the stage of WebGIS to WebService GIS. The emergence of Web Service GIS turns the situation of traditional centralizeddata storage and tightly coupled distributed system structure to distributed data storage andloosely coupled distributed system structure, which solves the problem of distribute data sharingand system integration in comprehensive situation information systems.(3) With the development of computer and network technique, the application program ofsituation information systems has experienced C/S and B/S phase. Due to technical limitations,C/S pays much attention to client mode and B/S lays stress on server mode, but RIA technologycombines the merits of C/S and B/S technology. In this system it uses Flex language for client,which maximizes the breath and richness of the application program, and reaches unprecedentedonline user experience in this system.(4)Under the support of NewMap, this paper realizes the general situation informationprototype system, and on the basis the team builds “Digital Binzhou General SituationInformation System”.
