In the modern social commodity economic development rapidly, market competition isintense, pay attention to the color design of packaging, pay attention to the aesthetics ofdesign and the analysis of the research in consumption psychology is an effective way whichcommodity seizes the market.Children’s food occupied a large proportion in the Complicated food market.Children’sfood packaging is the most distinctive and beautiful type in all the food packaging,this isclosely linked to color design. As the major consumers of children’s food,the group ofchildren are in the stage of development and unfocused,have immaturity and uncertainty.They know about things outside, mostly because they are stimulated by some information,through the interaction with the external environment, and formed certain cognition in theirown mind. They usually choose the food based on their first vision which packaging couldconveyed to.According to the characteristic of children and the results of market research, concludedthat the successful experience of children’s food packaging design and the basic principlesshow that:using primary red, yellow, green, blue with basic graphics, have more attractivefor consumers of children. This is the point that stylists and businessmen caught theconsumer’s psychology.Through analyzing the basic situation and the development trend of children’s foodpackaging design,Combined with the related theory of psychology of consumption,furtherstudy the color emotion of children.Using the basic knowledge of chromatology,take theemotion that conveyed by color as the main features,study the relevant theory ofcolor,focuses on analyzing the characteristics and effect of the complementarycolor,Combining with the psychological and physical characteristics ofchildren,Comprehensively use to children’s food packaging color design.In the whole system of color, using the complementary color can make the wholepicture show more lively and bright beautiful effect.Just catering to the children’spsychological development trend. Take motional characteristics of complementary color asthe key,deepen the discussion of color culture.More accurately described howthecomplementary color’s effect influence children’s consumption psychology.From the point ofview of the complementary color give the unique emotion and change to packaging,Innovate the practices of color design in the packaging design of children food. This can accuratelyconved the color’s character of commodity,designing with more in line with the colourlanguage of children’s consumer groups demand.
