| This paper reports the investigation on a gas transmission pipelines in western China.According to the results of ground test evaluation, the author select the check excavation and get the situation of corrosion about the pipline.The content of survey mainly involves the aspects of two:One hundred and forty test pits has been excavated in the pipeline. The author did some research,such as anti-corrosion methods, CO2corrosion, soil environment, coating and cathodic protection conditions and the pipe surface conditions and so on. The author describes the phenomenon and characteristics of the pipeline corrosion. Gansu section of the pipeline corrosion was analyzed about the causes and phenomenon. The author analyzed the experimental data. The author preliminary evaluated the pipeline corrosion on the sensitivity in the soil environment. The author analysis environmental conditions and operating conditions about the gas pipeline in western China. The author concluded the corrosion of the pipeline rules. Finally, the author put forward the protective measures and repair methods of anticorrosion on the gas transmission pipelines in western China.The results of research is very useful to pipeline in service and new gas pipline about corrosion investigation. |
