With the development of glasses market, and people’s increasingly requirements toglasses in our country, the demands of Glasses-Manufacture Numerical Control Machine(GM-NCM) is increasing in market. By now the companies in China that produce GM-NCMis quite few, and some part of the NC system are learn from the similar devices developedabroad.In this background, we associate with the enterprise to exploit the GM-NCM, andoptimize the software’s functions based on the actual situation. This thesis mainly covers thefollowing research work:The functions’ demands of the GM-NCM have been analyzed, the mechanical tool’stotal construction module has been estimated, and the system’s control method has beenchosen as "PC plus motion control card plus machine motor".The design of the CNC tool’s mechanical structure frame have been completed, and thenshow the design principles, mechanical drive means and mechanical function of the samplingmechanism, wire-transmission mechanism, shaping mechanism and the cut mechanism.The GM-NCM tool’s control system’s hardware design has been completed, and then thetypes of the motion control card, stepper motor, servo motors, sensors, cylinders have beenselected, and electrical connections between the electrical components and motion controlcard have been shown.The GM-NCM tool’s control system’s software design has been completed. VC++isused to develop the users’ interface. The details of each module of the control software havebeen introduced. And the ideal of control is elaborated through the raw data to the motorprocessing data. And the function of the software have been achieved by operating on theuses’ interface of production and processing, sample setting, system setting, graphicstrimming, wire management and so on.Currently, the GM-NCM tool has been tested initially by the enterprise, and the resultsshow the control method of "PC plus motion control card plus machine motor" for this projectcan achieve the manufacturing requirements with the corresponding machine mechanicalstructure. And this equipment is good reliable, high degree of automation, high efficient andlow cost.
