Objective: To evaluate its therapeutic effect and explore the possibleinfluencing factor by retrospectively studying on the pregnancy outcomesafter salpingostomy. Methods: According to different standards,118cases were selectedand divided into different groups:(1)72patients with bilateralhydrosalpinx were divided into laparoscopy group of41cases andlaparotomy group of31cases according to different operation methods.(2)75patients with laparoscopic operation were divided into bilateralhydrosalpinx group of41cases and unilateral hydrosalpinx group of34cases according to different hydrosalpinx involving scope.(3)34patientswith unilateral hydrosalpinx and having laparoscopic salpingostomy weredivided into three groups: mild group of10cases with less than1.5centimeters of hydrosalpinx diameter, moderate group of16cases with1.5cm to3cm of hydrosalpinx diameter and severe group of8cases withmore than3cm of hydrosalpinx diameter according to differenthydrosalpinx degrees.Results:(1) Among the118patients,49(41.5%) had intrauterine pregnancy and7(5.9%) had tubal pregnancy. Among the49withintrauterine pregnancy,30patients had natural intrauterine pregnancy and19got pregnancy after assisted reproductive technology(ART), accountingfor25.4%and16.1%respectively. Among the19cases that got pregnancyafter ART,1aborted when gestation was five months.(2)comparisonsbetween the laparoscopic group and laparotomy group indicates that thereare no significant differences between their Intrauterine pregnancy ratesand natural intrauterine pregnancy rates(P>0.05).(3) The significantdifferences can be found by comparing the intrauterine pregnancy rates andnatural intrauterine pregnancy rates between the bilateral group andunilateral group(P<0.05).(4) Comparing the pregnancy outcomes of eachone of the three groups with different hydrosalpinx degree and that of theother one, the differences of the intrauterine pregnancy rates between themoderate group and severe group are significant, and the differences of thenatural intrauterine pregnancy rates between the mild group and severegroup are also significant (P<0.05).Conclusion: Salpingostomy can treat infertility caused byhydrosalpinx. Several factors may influence the outcomes of pregnancyafter salpingostomy, and how to improve the postoperative intrauterinepregnancy rate is still the current research direction.
