Objective1.To discuss the value of serum sCD40L level on risk stratification in coronary heartdisease.2.To explore the significance of serum sCD40L level in evaluating coronary lesion’sdegree.MethodsThe research objects included93cases who underwent diagnostic coronaryangiography from March2010to June2011in our hospital.They were divided intonon-CHD control group with34patients and CHD group with59patients.The CHDgroup was also divided into two groups,including29cases of acute myocardialinfarction(AMI)and30cases of stable angina (SAP). Serum sCD40L level wasmeasured by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The number of lesion vessel wascalculated by international general Judkins method and Gensini Score estimatedcoronary lesion’s degree according to the results of CAG.Results1.Serum sCD40L level was significantly higher in AMI group [(4.40±1.64)ng/ml]than SAP group[(2.72±1.67)ng/ml(P<0.05)] and non-CHD control group [(2.16±0.88)ng/ml(P<0.05)]. Serum sCD40L in SAP group was slightly higher than non-CHDcontrol group,But there was no statistical significance between them(P>0.05).2.The level of serum hs-CRP was significantly higher in AMI group [(2.03±1.28)mg/dl] than SAP group [(1.02±0.62) mg/dl(P<0.05)]and non-CHD control group[(0.44±0.30)mg/dl(P<0.05)].Serum hs-CRP level was notably higher in SAP groupthan non-CHD control group,the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). 3.Serum sCD40L level was significantly higher in patients whose coronary artery haslesion vessels than patients in non-CHD control group.The level of serum sCD40Lwas higher in two lesion vessels group and three lesion vessels group than one lesionvessel group(P<0.05).But there was no significant difference between two lesionvessels group and three lesion vessels group in serum sCD40L level(P>0.05).4.In CHD group,Serum sCD40L level was positively correlated with Gensini score(r=0.537, P<0.05).5.Serum sCD40L level has positive correlation with NT-proBNP in CHD group(r=0.33,P<0.05).Conclusions1.Serum sCD40L level may be useful for risk stratification in coronary artery disease.2.The level of serum sCD40L may contribute to the evaluation of coronary lesion’sdegree.
