The genus Dictamnus, belonging to Rutaceae family, consists of two species in China,D.dasycarpus Turcz mainly distributes in northeast, and D.angus tifolius G.Doc mainlydistributes in Xinjiang province. Dictamnus dasycarpus Turez is one of the species withmedical function in the genus Dictamnus. Its roots have long been used as Chinese folkmedicine witll the efficacy of curing urticaria, relieving internal heat or fever, preventing itch,as well as killing worms etc., and are generally used for the treatment of jaundice, rheumatism, febricity, cephalalgia, and various other diseases. In order to explore much more pharmacological constituents of genus Dictamnus, thisthesis studied the chemical constituents of D.dasycarpus Turcz. The plant was extracted withethanol at room temperature. The extract was concentrated in vacuum and the resultant darkbrown syrup was dissolved in redistilled water, and extracted with the petroleum ether, ethylacetate, butyl alcohol to the extraction to get several kinds of distilled matter. And each ofthem weight for2.88%,0.68%and0.37%of gross weight of the plant.Sixteen kinds of monomeric compounds had been obtained by silica gel columnchromatography, thin layer chromatography, HPLC and recrystallization etc. The structuresof sixteen compounds were elucidated on the basis of1H NMR,13C NMR. They wereidentified as pregnenolone (1), dictamnine (2), stearic acid (3), β-sitosterol (4), lauric acid (5),chlorophyll (6), fraxinellone (7), quercetin (8), quercetin-3-β-D-glucoside (9), scopoletin (10),obacunone (11), daucosterol (12), β-sitosterol-glucoside (13), kihadinin B (14), α-glucose(15), sucrose (16). Three compoundes3,9and13were isolated from this plant for the firsttime.
