| Objective:To investigate the plasma level of High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation after the Dingxin Granule treatment and to explore the possible machanism of Dingxin Granule in the prevention or treatment of atrial fibrillation.Methods:Sixty patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation were randomly divided into two groups:Dingxin Granule group (n=30) and controll group(n=30). The Dingxin Granule group were administrated with Dingxin Granule and the Controll group were given Amiodarone.The periods were both four week. The plasma levels of hs-CRP in two group were detected with immune turbidimetry respectively (before the treatment, the7th day,the14th day, the21th day and28th day after treatment).Observe the conversion of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, Andvent-ricular rate controlling and the changes of linical symptoms before and after the treament.Results:1.The hs-CRP levels of the Dingxin Granule group and control group were not statistically different before treatment(P>0.05). The Dingxin Granule group and control group could significantly reduce serum hs-CRP levels of PAF patients, and the Dingxin Granule group reduce serum hs-CRP levels compared with the control group, there was a significant difference between them (P<0.05).2.The hs-CRP levels of non-Cardioversion in the Dingxin Granule group were higher compared with the patients of cardioversion in the Dingxin Granule group(P<0.05).3.After the treatment, The total effect of Dingxin granule group on dioversion was76.67%, and the controll group was80.00%,which showed no significant difference through the Ridit test (P>0.05).4.After the treatment,the average ventricular rateã€duration of AF in both group are reduced compared the pretherapy,and there is no difference between the Dingxin Granule group and and the controlled group (P>0.05).5. The patients’ TCM symptoms in the Dingxin granule group are better compared the pretherapy. The rate of improvement in the clinical symptoms of Dingxin granule group reached86.67%and the control group reached53.33%.There was significant difference between the Dingxin Granule group and the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Dingxin Granule can significantly reduce hs-CRP levels in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.2.Dingxin Granule can treat PAF,lowing the average ventricular rateã€reducing the duration of the PAF and significantly improving the patient’s clinical symptoms.3.The mechanism of Dingxin Granule treatment of PAF may be associated with lowering the hs-CRP levels and inhibiting the inflammatory response, prevent the the ECG reconstruction and atrial structural remodeling, Therefore, Dingxin Granule is an dffective therapy of preventing and treatment of PAF. |
