| The aim of the research is to understand the AIDS epidemic trend and evaluate the effects of AIDS prevention and treatment strategies in Gansu Province by evidence and systemic data analysis. The research is to provide scientific basis for revising the AIDS prevention and treatment strategies in future years through the epidemic analysis, to find out the problems on current AIDS prevention and treatment by evaluating the current strategic results, to make out the next-step AIDS prevention and treatment strategies, and to explore the strategic mode matching the low-epidemic area situation in Gansu.The conclusion of the research is that the strategies of scientific health education, wholesome prevention system, high-efficiency supervision, comprehensive intervention and the Four free and one care policy have resulted in the effective control of AIDS prevalence. Even though, there are still the needs for revising the strategies, which would result in the better control of AIDS epidemic in Gansu province in the coming years. |
