A Study On The Phonetic Characteristics Of Ninghe Dialect

Abstract:This paper is on the foundation of field work, which is recorded an summoned the feature of pronunciation of Ninghe dialect. The thesis, which is based-on the synchronic description, aims at different phonetic characters and uses some relative linguistic researching method, trying to illustrate the evolution of Ninghe dialect and revealing the historical administrative levels.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first chapter mainly demonstrates the geographical and humanity atmosphere of Ninghe. What’s more, the chapter explains the affiliation of Ninghe dialect and the resource of material and research method in this dissertation. The second chapter mainly describes the phonetic system of Ninghe dialect, summoning up the phonetic character of Ninghe dialect, especially for the system of retroflex final and the law of changing tone in sound linking. Chapter three mainly describes the tone category of qusheng, identifying the tone pitch of Yinqu and Yangqu by means of acoustic experiments. Meanwhile, with the help of history documentary literature and AHP, the chapter analyzes the historical gradation where Qusheng is deviced into Yinqu and Yangqu. Chapter four discusses some problem existing in initial consonant in Ninghe dialtct with some research methods such as the theory of phonetic changes and variant proninciaton.Chapter five the rest part of the article generally describes some problems of vowel in Ninghe dialect, shedding lights on regain characteristic of Ninghe.
