The Classical Significance And Insufficiency<the Corpus Of The Modern Literature Of China(1917-1927)·The Second Volumes Of Fiction·Compiler>

Studied by the <Compiler> written by Lu Xun for <The Corpus Of the Modern Literature Of china (From1917-1927)·Second Volumes of Fiction), in which Lu Xun gave comments on writers, literature groups and literature phenomenon which significantly influenced the writing of Chinese modern literature history after1950s, this paper proves this great influence. And by representing the situations that how literature writing of different history periods followed or broke through the comments from Lu Xun, this article also discusses the significance and insufficiency of Lu Xun’s valuation.There are four chapters in this paper. The first chapter, about Lu Xun commented on his own novels-’the profound expression and the special style’ mainly elaborates that Lu Xun appraised his own novels correctly from view of thoughts and skills and the influence of his comments on identification of his novels in literature history. This chapter has two sections. The first section, based on the outstanding thoughts of his novels, elaborates the sense of Lu Xun’s creative writing in novels as ancestor in Chinese modern literature history. The second section, from the view of creative writing skills of his novel, details the sense of his novel writing as foundation of maturing modern Chinese novels. The second chapter, emerging of the concept of literature history-local literature, mainly details historical sense of the concept "local literature" mentioned by Lu Xun in the <Compiler>. This chapter has three sections. The first section gives a picture on the progress that concept of "local literature" had been popularized in Chinese modern literature history. The second section discusses the influence in Chinese modern literature history was made by Lu Xun’s comments on writing of "local literature". The last section in this chapter, taking a view of the early "local novel" works of Fei Ming and Shen Congwen, retrospects the deficiencies of the definition of "local literature" made by Lu Xun. The third chapter relates how Lu Xun’ s comments on the writer of<The Renaissance), Qian Cao Organization, Chen Zhong Organization influenced the later writing of literature history. This chapter has four sections. The first section demonstrates Lu Xun successfully fixed his Issue Novel’s position as the ancestor in literature history by appraising writer of <The Renaissance). The second section explores the rationality of Lu Xun’s comments on the novel<Yu Jun) written by Yang Zhen Sheng who was one writers of <The Renaissance). The third section demonstrates the significance of how Lu Xun’s appraisal of Qian cao and Chen Zhong organizations affected two literature groups’position in literature history. The last section discusses the accuracy of Lu Xun’ s comments on Feng Zhi, and analyzes the reasons behind his appraisal of Feng Zhi. This section also is divided into two parts, individually analyzes the reasons of Lu Xun’s preference for Feng Zhi and discrimination against Xu Zhi Mo. The fourth chapter, discusses writers by their writing styles-Feng Yuanjun and Ling Shuhua, mainly proves the literature historical significance of the comments on the two female writers above Lu Xun made according to the method "understand people, see family" which was used to criticize people in Wei and Jin Dynasty. This chapter has two sections, separately discusses the literature significance of Lu Xun’s comments on Feng Yuanjun and Ling Shuhua. The second section has two parts, the first part shapes the arguments between Lu Xun and Chen Xiying, husband of Ling Shuhua. The second part clarifies the historical background of Lu Xun’s three times of comments on Ling Shuhua.
