This research is focusing on the concept of negative coparenting which is taking the subject of the infant families, with the questionnaire method to select the subjects. And also, this paper tries to distinguish and intervene the infant families’ negative coparenting with the sandplay therapy.The study in the past confirmed that coparenting was superior than single mother who was raising a child alone.However,there are the positive and negative aspects of coparenting. Therefore, it is of vital importance to study the intervention of negative coparenting of infant family.The result shows that:(1) In Sandplay productions, furniture construction, characters and human body, sports and transportation toys are more commonly used in infant families which are negative coparenting.(2) Infant families with negative coparenting in sandplay productions proportion of trauma topic are higher, and significant in the prejudice, neglect, confusion themes.(3) The outcome shows that there is no significant difference between negative coparenting infant families and the control group in cure themes.(4) In sandplay works, the infant families which are negative coparenting were significantly different from control group families in daily family life situation.(5) In the sandtrays, negative coparenting infant families and control group families were no clearly different in emergence of selfimage,mobile times in the toy(6) Through the analysing of the two cases of negative infant families from the initial sandtray, toys, naming and scenes, selfimage, the result indicates family group sandplay therapy can inspire and promote the selfgrowth potential of infant family with difficulties in their daily life.(7) By comparison in psychological measurement、selfevaluation、reflection of others, it indicates that the case can migrate the psychological growth in the creation of Sandplay into the real family life. This study also reveals that family group sandplay therapy has positive effects in intervention for negative coparenting infant families.
