Liu Ximing Syndrome Differentiation Treatment Of Hyperthyroidism (gall Gas) Research

Objective To study the basic TCM syndromes of HyPerthyroidism(YingQi)(including syndrome-dieffrention factors), and the transformation of TCM syndromes based on pr ogression of disease.To summarize treatment methods of syndrome-dieffrention on HyP erthyroidism(YingQi) by Ximing Liu.Methods The study runs on four steps in all.The first step Based on literature search,"Investigation Table of TCM Syndrom es of Hyperthyroidism "was made.The second step After clinical test,subjects based on "Investigation Table of TC M Syndromes of Hyperthyroidism "were collected and studyed.The third step Data was collected based on different prieods of0、1、2、3、6、9、12、0as preliminary examination."Investigation Table of TCM Syndromes of Hypert hyroidism " includes seven parts:①Screening table;②General information;③etiology survey;④Relative dignosis&complication;⑤TCM symptoms and physical signs;⑥Chemi cal examination;⑦Drugs&herbs.The fouth step Statistical analysis. SPSS18.0was used. Algorithms include freque ncy analysis, x2-test,T-test, kendall’s tau-b, Spearman.Results The result includes five parts.Thyromegaly Syndrome-differention on Thyromegaly III°is phlem stagnation, bio od stasis; on Thyromegaly II°blood stasis, liver depressed, phlem stagnation; on Thy romegaly I°yin deficiency, liver fire, phlem stagnation, heart fire.Syndrome-differention treatment by stages≤6m:Syndrome factors:yin deficiency、 phlem stagnation、 liver fire、 spleen defici ency、 liver depressed、 heart fire、 blood stasis、 dampness encumbrance、 stomach fire、 disharmony between liver and stomach、 qi stagnation、 qi deficiency、 wind-heat. Main syndromes are deficiency o f qi and yin, and the prescription is Shengmai Decoction。Syndrome factors relativity analysisSignificant correlation at the0.01level:liver depressed-yin deficiency(R=-0.432),1iver depressed-qi stagnation(R=0.407), yin deficiency-spleen deficiency(R=-0.328), yin d eficiency-phlem stagnation(R=-0.333), phlem stagnation-dampness encumbrance(R=0.295), spleen deficiency-dampness encumbrance(R=-0.261),liver fire-dampness encumbrance (R=0.412).Significant correlation at the0.05level:phlem stagnation-qi stagnation(R=0.248),liv er fire-blood stasis(R=-0.239),phlem stagnation-heart fire(R=-0.211), phlem stagnation-qi deficiency(R=-0.201), yin deficiency-disharmy between liver and stomach.Chinese herbsFrequence Sorting:Prunella vulgaris(70.30%), Figwort Root(48.51%), Tree Peony Bark(45.54%),White Paeony Root(40.59%), Pseudostellaria heterophylla(39.60%), Ophi opogon Japonicus(37.62%),seed of Ziziphus jujuba var.spinosa(Bunge)Hu(36.63%), Fo rsythia suspensa (32.67%), Lilium brownii var. viridulum (28.71%), Bulbus Fritillar iaof Zhejiang((28.71%), Indian Buead(24.75%),Leguminosae(23.76%).Conclude①yin deficiency, phlem stagnation、 liver fire、 liver depressed blood stasis qi deficiency are main syndrome factors;②Main syndromes that Ximing Liu used are:qi and phlem stagnation fire blazing of liver、 fire blazing of heart and st omach、 deficiency of qi and yin.③Syndrome-differention treatment by stages:syndro me-differentions in early stage are qi and phlem stagnation, treated by Sini Powder、 X iaoyao Powder and Xiao Chaihu Decoction. In middle stage fire blazing of liver and heart and fire blazing of stomach, treated by Zhizi Qinggan Decoction and Baihu Dec oction. In later stage deficiency of qi and yin, treated by Shengmai Decoction。④Thyr omegaly is mainly affected by blood stasis. phlem stagnation.qi depressed.
