Pale Even In Patients With Chronic Stomach Disease Ning Capsule Of Atrophic Gastritis (damp And Hot Resistance) In Clinical Research

Objective:To investigate the effect and safety of Canglianweijining capsule for the treatment of chronic non-atrophic gastritis of damp-heat syndrome.Methods:This is a multi-centered, randomized, clinical controlled trial. Subjects with chronic non-atrophic gastritis of damp-heat syndrome were consecutively enrolled from five hospitals. Patients in treatment group received Canglianweijining capsule, those in control group taken Sanjiuweitai capsule. Endoscopy and biopsy were performed both at the beginning and at the end of a4-week treatment. The histological and endoscopic finding, clinical symptom were used as the outcome measuresResults:Two hundred and forty subjects were consecutively enrolled,120patients in each group. It is found that the cured rate of Canglianwei jining group was4.50%, significant effect rate was55.86%, response rate was33.33%, those in Sanjiuweitai group were2.63%,42.11%and43.86%respectively. Statistical differences were found between groups for significant effect rate (P=0.0148<0.05). Both Canglianweijining and Sanjiuweitai could improve the scores of epigastric pain and epigastric bloating in different weeks after medication, but no statistical significance was found, regurgitation, poor appetite, nausea, bitter taste were improved, but failed to reach significance after4-week medication. For histological lesions, the acute inflammation was improved in treatment group, superior to control group in one hospital, the difference reached statistical significance after Logistic regression analysis. Both Canglianweijining and Sanjiuweitai had no effect on Hp eradication. No severe adverse effect found in this study.Conclusions:Canglianweijining capsule could improve the symptoms of epigastric pain, epigastric bloating, regurgitation, poor appetite, nausea and bitter taste, and endoscopic findings including erythroplakia, erosion, hemorrage and bile reflux, and the histological lesion like acute and chronic inflammation. Canglianweijining is effective and safe in treating chronic non-atrophic gastritis of damp-heat syndrome.
