Chinese women’s national football team made remarkable achievements. However, since2000the overall level of Chinese women’s football team and competition results began to fall:it failed to qualify the group stage in the27th Sydney Olympic Games; it lost the promotion qualification in2011Women’s World Cup in Germany; and it failed to enter the finals of London Olympic Games. One of the most important reasons for the decline was that the training of talented young players in clubs is seriously lagging behind. The study on the Echelon Construction of Tianjin Women’s professional soccer clubs will not only deepen our understanding of the training of the talented players in clubs, but also have some theoretical and practical value. The study, adopting the approaches of access to the literature and data, interviews, on-site investigation, and other research metho shows that the echelon construction of Tianjin women’s football clubs has begun to take shape. In the current echelon of the club, there are a team of players born in1993and1994, and a team of players in1995and1996. There is a deputy general manager to be in charge of the management and coaching staffs with rich experience and reasonable age structure at all levels in the club. But the club provides less coach personnel in comparison with other current international professional women’s football teams which put more emphasis on physical training and research. The three teams with a total of70, among which82.6percent of the athletes are from Tianjin, most from He Dong District and He Xi District. As to the funds for the club’s daily operating expenses, in addition to the government investment of Tianjin Sports Bureau, each year the club receives some financial support from social enterprises by naming rights, which help to increase the funding ratio year by year and improve the treatment of athletes every year. All levels of the echelon of the club have perfect competition and training plan. There are20games on average each year. Every year, the club can convey3to5athletes for higher level of the echelon. In recent years, it provides a group of excellent athletes for the national youth and teenager football team. The club takes a series of measures issued in athletes’Living, education, entertainment, retirement and placement, which show the humanistic management of the club. The current Chinese women athletes including Tianjin Women’s professional soccer clubs are in want of the support from educational system and community as well as that from sport system. To achieve scientific competition and training, more emphasis should be put on scientific physical training, scientific recovery means for athletes and scientific configuration of medical staffs particularly. In addition, great importance should be emphasized on improving the cultural quality education of the football teams’athletes of all age stages including the members of the front team. Ideological education and cultural education should be combined organically to better educate athletes by means of speeches, experts’lectures, systematic literate classes and so on. At the same time, more attention should be paid to cultivating the athletes’ability to communicate with the society in order to provide comprehensive sports talents for our country and society.
