In recent years, with the booming of the voluntary service in China, colleges anduniversities as the important position, college students as the main force of volunteeractivities in colleges and universities become an important part of the youth voluntaryservice, and it has made remarkable achievements in various fields of the society.Development of college voluntary service is not only conducive to the growth and successof the college students themselves, but also helps to promote spiritual civilizationconstruction of colleges and universities as well as social harmony and progress. Howeverdue the time to carry out is shorter, the voluntary services in colleges still exist manyproblems to be solved in the course of development. Currently, few researches of theacademia for college voluntary service in China, mostly in the youth voluntary service asthe theme, stay on the case or empirical research, the lack of systematic and comprehensiveresearch of college voluntary service itself. Based on this, the paper through theinvestigation and study, analysis the development status of the entire system of collegevoluntary work, depth to explore the problems and causes, and puts forward correspondingsolving measures, so as to provide reference for future related research.
