Due to the characteristics of our country’s feature, the economic losses up tohundreds of billion by landslides every year. However, some of the existing landslidedetection method is not efficiency and particularly expensive, so it’s not suitable formass popularization. With the development of image processing and embedded, a newmethod that design of real-time remote in the image of landslide monitoring hasappearance. This method can set the acquisition, recognition, image transmissiontogether.The design adopts the technology of image processing, embedded technologyand the mature GPRS remote communication technology. Through the embeddedpowerful computing ability, can quickly for image processing and recognition.Meanwhile, through the GPRS DTU can effectively send the information to themonitoring center. The design can simultaneously control a plurality of detectionpoints by a monitoring center, the wide detection range, high cost performance, strongflexibility, suitable for mass popularization.The design includes two parts. The fist part is the monitoring terminal, it mainlyincludes the camera parameters configuration, serial port settings, image acquisition,image processing, serial communication protocol and image transmission method; thesecond part is the monitoring center, it mainly includes the setting, the serialcommunication protocol serial formulation, mark restore point preservation anddisplay, image and display etc. In consideration that site picture can not be returned inthe landslides remote communication, which leads to the insufficient of landslidemisjudge, a serial remote wireless communication method is proposed. This methodthrough the establishment of special communication protocol can transport all kindsof large image information complete and effective.Through the experiment and verification, the results indicated that the design ofreal-time remote in the image of landslide monitoring is feasible in which the stabilityof image information transmission, real-time and the image of clarity.
