The construction of urban wastewater treatment plants to strengthen the collection, treatment and disposal of urban wastewater is one of the most important and most effective way to solve the problem of water pollution, many municipal wastewater treatment plant built in Shanxi Province in recent years, but due to the high energy consumption and operating costs of wastewater treatment system, resulting in many wastewater treatment plants can not be normal production run. Therefore, scientific analysis of the energy consumption of urban wastewater treatment plant in Shanxi Province, to explore a reasonable and viable energy saving measures to reduce operating costs has a very important practical significance. This paper to investigate the operation of two typical wastewater treatment plant of Shanxi Province, and analysis of the composition and distribution of energy consumption of major energy-saving ways and energy-saving measures, the conclusions as follow:(1) The pretreatment unit energy consumption accounts for about20%of the total energy consumption of the overall energy consumption in the Shanxi Province typical wastewater treatment plant system, secondary biological treatment unit energy consumption accounts for67%of total energy consumption, the sludge treatment unit energy consumption accounts for10%of total energy consumption. Wherein the energy consumption is mainly concentrated in the preprocessing unit of the wastewater lifting system, the aeration system of the secondary processing unit, sludge processing unit of sludge to enhance system and the dewatering system, respectively of the total energy consumption ratio of18.24%,56.8%and7.44%, is the most important energy-saving in the wastewater treatment plant and the most critical aspects.(2) Wastewater lift system power consumption accounts for about20%of the total power consumption accounting to the waste water treatment plant. Therefore, in the design, the accurate calculation of the head loss to determine the wastewater lift pump head, and should not be taken to estimate; pump with selection, using a variable speed pump with fixed speed pumps with optimized combination adapt to the changes of the wastewater into the water; in the operation and management should be strengthened to enhance the pump frequency conversion control in order to adapt to the fluctuations in the flow of wastewater, in addition, to strengthen the development and application of the sources of heat pump technology can reduce the energy consumption of wastewater lifting system.(3) The power consumption of the aeration system in the largest proportion of the total power consumption of the entire wastewater treatment system, usually in about60%. Aeration equipment microporous aeration diffusion device can improve the efficiency of the dissolved oxygen in the aeration equipment, energy-saving effect is remarkable. Aeration system design should be based on the average oxygen demand of the biological tanks microorganisms, choose high power efficiency and ability oxygenation aeration device to set the optimal combination of speed plus variable speed run, dissolved oxygen according to the unit process gradient reasonable layout proliferation of devices, online testing and feedback control to control the aeration device operating power and opening number, in order to obtain a good energy saving effect.(4) Sludge treatment system energy consumption is mainly used to enhance sludge and sludge dewatering. Energy-saving of sludge lift pump is similar to wastewater lift pump, should pay attention to reasonably determine the pump head, try to shorten the transportation distance. Energy-saving sludge dewatering system should be noted that the reasonable choice based on the amount of yield and moisture content of the sludge dewatering machine models and the number of possible use of low energy consumption and efficient dewatering equipment, and to strengthen the operation and management control, the equipment is always running in the efficiency zone, can reduce the cost of sludge treatment; another selection of efficient flocculant, and experiments to determine the optimal dosage, can reduce the consumption of pharmacy, reduce pharmaceutical costs.
