| With the increase of social demand for particle board, the plate quality becomes more and more important for consumers and manufacturers. The shavings morphology is one of the main process factors determine particleboard properties and applications, it affects not only the hot-pressing process of the particleboard, but also has an important effect on the mechanical strength and dimensional stability of the product. So the quality of the plate is determined largely by the cutting wood shavings quality. Because wood is an anisotropic material, the influence of cutting wood shavings by cutting direction and cutting speed is very large, so the reasonable control of the speed and direction of the cutting process can greatly improve the quality of wood shavings. The subject of this paper is to achieve numerical control and intelligent of the processing parameters.The research purpose of this paper is using machine vision technology to optimize cutting control parameters of the disc wood shavings machine. This paper using computer vision technique to analyze the video image sequence generated during the particles cutting process, through the study of the association between the shaving cutting control parameters and monitoring video image to optimize the cutting parameters, control dimension, thickness of flake shape is more sensitive, more accurate, and realizes the numerical control, intelligent process of artificial board.Firstly, this paper introduced the disadvantages of traditional artificial detection and proposes control parameters optimization of cutting wood shavings using computer vision, and explains the research meaning; Secondly, introduced this subject classification method adopted by the support vector machine (SVM), and shavings image classification using the SVM classification method based on principal component analysis (PCA); again, elaborate shavings cutting control parameter optimization method research in this topic, the implementation process of the project were introduced in detail; Finally, to show the development system of this project.Using combine computer vision technology and numerical control technology to realize intelligent of cutting shavings process, the optimization results show that the proposed method can well control the cutting shavings form, not only improves the process accuracy and sensitivity, but also reduces the production cost, and has high economic value. |
