In order to protect the safety production in underground mines, to prevent the occurrence ofsafety accidents, research and implement a set of safe and effective seismic real-time onlinemonitoring system based on virtual instrument technology.Firstly, according to the need of system of the acquisition function, select and procure ofsensor, data collector and the computer, at the same time in order to realize the long distancetransmission, make the optical fiber as the core of the transmission system. In addition, in orderto provide the power to the system, select the multiplex output power converter to reach thispurpose.Secondly, based on virtual instrument software, write the software in combination with thesystem hardware. According to the objectives and functions, based on the modular andhierarchical, design the modules of the start and stop data collection, parameter setting, datastorage and view, real-time data display and so on. So realize the real-time micro seismicmonitoring system with powerful function and high ratio of performance to price.In addition, make a research on the source location algorithm, introduce two kinds ofcommonly used location methods: Newton method and the particle swarm algorithm, and usingMATLAB software with powerful operation ability to write procedures, through theexpansibility between the MATLAB software and LabVIEW software, realize the written ofvirtual instrument software of the Newton and the particle swarm algorithm.Finally, make Jinshandian Iron Mine as an example, according to the actual situation ofJinshandian Iron Mine, built the micro seismic real-time online monitoring system of a set of16channels, and through analyze and deal with the collected data, show that system can be normaland stable operation, also can collect and store data, and the speed and precision of the microseismic source location software can meet the requirements of actual engineering.
