This paper mainly reseaches the energy balance situation of pulping system in the paperindustry, including the acid sulfite cooking, the alkaline cooking, the high yield pulp and thepulp’s washing,screening and bleaching, especially the revise and formulation ofcogeneration and chemical agent production’s energy consumption standard.In recent years, the price of the energy is higher and higher, energy costs, fiber rawmaterials and waste water treatment costs constitute the main running costs in the pulping andpaper making industry. At present, there is still excessive situation in China’s energyconsumption, not achive the world’s developed level.This situation show that China’s paperindustry is potential in energy saving, in order to ensure the sustainable development ofChina’s paper industry, energy saving is imminent. Therefore, it is necessary to research theenergy consumption situation.Every section’s energy balance calculated in this paper is based on the the first andsecond law of energy balance and process.After determining the calculation plan, we reseachon the working fields, then collect the necessary data and make the material balance andenergy balance.We can calculate the electricity and stream consumption of per productionwhich produce by every section.Finally, we make it into a stardard document.After calculation, we know the steam and electricity consumption situation of the fifteenunits.The results are as follows.The acid sulfite cooking system consumes5515MJ heat and43kwh electricity; the intermittent cooking (standing boiler) system consumes5215MJ heat and53kwh electricity; the ball-cooker system consumes5776MJ heat and80kwh electricity;theKamyr continuous cooking system consumes2443MJ heat and26kwh electricity;thehorizontal-tube digester system consumes6699MJ heat and123kwh electricity;the SGW systemconsumes699MJ heat and1485kwh electricity;the P-RC APMP system consumes1324MJ and1830kwh electricity; the BCTMP system consumes249MJ and2181kwh electricity;the DIPsystem consumes1304MJ and594kwh electricity; the oxygen delignification system consumes1115MJ and42kwh electricity;the CEHP bleaching system consumes3306MJ and196kwhelectricity;the chlorine dioxide bleaching system consumes839MJ and63kwh electricity;theoxygen producing system doesn’t consume heat,but consume26kwh electricity; the chlorine dioxide producing system consumes2555MJ and8947kwh electricity.
