SQZX-400machine tool is a crankshaft special milling machine, is an upcoming production machine tool of the Dandong Machine tool Co.,Ltd. It works by two rotation disk cutter that can be horizontal and vertical movement and a rotation work-piece to cut each other. As the crankshaft is one of the engine parts which work in the harshest environments and demand the highest safety factor, the processing is quite harsh, which requires the crankshaft machine tools possessed with high precision and high stability. Therefore, it is necessary for SQZX-400crankshaft milling machine to do theoretical research, thereby improving the processing performance, increase its processing speed and accuracy. The main contents of the paper as follows:(1) Based on a large number of literature materials, I have a comprehensive review about the domestic and international research status and development trends of the crankshaft machining technology, clarify the importance and significance of research Introduce briefly about the basic structure, working principle, the technical parameters and other information of the SQZX-400machine tool, with the Pro/E software, making the three-dimensional modeling for the bed, spindle drive system, milling transmission system, and transmission system and assemble together.(2) With the process of the roundness of the crankshaft connecting rod journal, analysis the movement relationship between the spindle and the disk cutter and get the movement formula, Optimize the speed of the spindle, and improve the processing efficiency of the roundness of the crankshaft connecting rod journal.(3) Base on the gear box with the disk cutter, considering the role of the meshing between helical gears each other, to establish a dynamics model about the parallel shaft helical gear coupled system; conduct a modal analysis for the gear box, obtain the critical speed and get a conclusion that the input speed of the Gearbox is safe.(4) Base on the dynamics model about the parallel shaft helical gear coupled system, analyzing the information about the displacement and rotation angle of one point which locate the middle of the contact between the gear box output shaft and the disk cutter, explain the influence from output shaft vibration displacement to the machine tool through the disk cutter when the motor under rated operation condition; analysis the relationship between the milling forces with the vibration displacement of the disk cutter, and get a conclusion that the relationship between both is liner.
