Under the background of the ecological civilization construction, how to realize theenergy conservation and emissions reduction is one of the highlights of our currentwork. This paper aims to study the influence factors of China’s carbon emissions withnationwide materials; it could provide regional comparison within a reasonableframework, and effective theoretical support for energy conservation and emissionsreduction policy. On the premise of real and accurate data, the two layers of fullydecomposition method is adopted to decompose carbon emissions into seven kinds ofinfluence factors, using logarithmic mean decomposition method to calculate theimpact factor of various factors on carbon emissions, and conduct an empiricalanalysis on decomposition factors of carbon emissions for the past12years in30provinces of China.First of all, on the basis of comparing regional carbon emissions and growth rateamong all areas,2000-2012is divided into four stages, the carbon emissions of carbonregions are divided by the quantity of CO2.Thus, we can analyze the differences ofindustrial structure among all regions, some results can be concluded, for example, thedifference in CO2total emission of the three large areas is largely expanding. Second,we divide the growth of CO2emissions into7kinds of factors--production departmentenergy intensity, economic structure, the per capita GDP, population, fuel structure andresidents living energy intensity. Through calculating the CO2emissions growth rateand the impact of influence factors on the growth rate, we prove whether the sevenfactors act as a positive or negative impact respectively in various regions. Thisanalysis uncovered that though the fuel structure factor has little effect on growth ofcarbon emissions, optimization of fuel structure and reduction of energy intensity ofproduction department still can lower the carbon emissions, and in the contrast, per capita GDP, economic structure, and population factors will improve the growth rate ofcarbon emissions. Again, classification analysis is used in this paper and the6kinds ofinfluence factors are classified as four kinds of effects, namely the energy intensityeffect, structure effect and activity effect and scale effect, then we give detailedstatements on the carbon emissions influence of all effects. Finally, according to theresults of study, this paper puts forward some policy recommendations to promote theprocess of carbon emissions, these recommendations also aim to realize the target ofconstructing a resource-efficient and environment-friendly society, according to policysupporting, adjusting the industrial structure, optimizing the fuel structure andpromoting low-carbon concept. |
