Simulation software in the power system of training and scientific research hasbeen more and more applications, because modern power system network is expanding,and the voltage level of the power grid is also rising, power system planning,construction, operationand control of more and more complex. This paper analyzes thestatus quo, the historical development of the substation simulation training system. Ofthe unit substation simulation training system, focusing on the220kV and belowsubstation simulation to determine the direction and goals of software design, and canbe achieved. The software system development needs analysis to determine the basiccontent of the substation simulation training, including theoretical training, training fornormal operation, abnormal and accident handling training, equipment inspectiontraining, and then use the UML modeling method to complete the software systemfunctional description. The design phase of the software system, in accordance with theprinciples of modular design, the substation simulation subsystem, the "Five Anti"switching operation to achieve the main modules were designed in detail.Implementation phase of the software system, using C++language as a programmingtool, select C/S development model, to complete the implementation of the varioussubsystems of the software. Design and development of a substation simulation systemin practical applications constantly evolve to better play substation operation personneltraining.In this paper, the design and development of substation simulation training systemhas a perfect "five anti" function, can realize based on the graphic simulation operation,automatic fill out switching-operation ticket. The examination subsystem is able toprocess, to student accident switching operation test of automatic recording and scoring.Due to the adoption of the C\/S model for software development, to achieve the fastrunning speed, large amount of data processing requirements.
