The Research Of The Affect By Atorvastatin On The Plasma Oxidized Low Density Lipoprotein Levels And Superoxide Dismutase Activities In Senile Ischemic Stroke

Objective To detect the change of serum Superoxide dismutase(SOD) and OxidizedLow Density Lipoprotein(ox-LDL) in the elderly patients with acute cerebral infarctionby atorvastatin. To Explain the affect by atorvastatin about Oxidative stress and Lipidperoxidation in Senile Ischemic stroke,and provide Antioxidant treatment of acutecerebral infarction clinical basis by atorvastatin.Methods Randomly selected62cases acute cerebral infarction patients over the ageof60years, admitted to Neurology of Anhui Provincial Hospital from September in2011to May in2012（Confirmed by CT and MRI），32cases were treated byatorvastatin, other30cases were in control group. No dropouts in the experimental. Allblood samples anticoagulated were dealed with centrifugation.All the blood sampleswere analyzed by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）to detect SOD andox-LDL at admission and after10~14days later. They were made comparison andstatistical analysis.Results After treated10~14days later the treatment group SOD and ox-LDL werenot change more.Their difference have not statistically significant(P>0.05). But thecontrol group ox-LDL levels higher than the time of admission (P <0.01) and SOD levelwas lower than the time of admission (P <0.01). Their difference have statisticallysignificant. After treated10~14days,do neurological for all patients for efficacyevaluation,the result display that the treatment group’s efficient is higher than thecontrol group’s.but have no statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions Atorvastatin have affects in Anti-Oxidative stress and Anti-Lipidperoxidation outside the Lipid Metabolism. Maybe can improve positive affect in eldlyacute cerebral infarction for clinical Prognosis.
