Analysis Of Dust Hazard Status And Study Of Prevention And Control Measures Of Key Industries In Guangdong Province

After the function of occupation health supervision transferred from the Healthdepartment to the Administration of Work Safety department, Administration of Work Safetydepartment at all levels were not aware of occupational hazards’ situation within the areaunder their jurisdiction, which has caused great difficulties and resistance to the supervisionand management of occupational health. In order to find out the problem of dust hazards,determine the priorities of occupational health supervision and management, strengthen thecontrol and supervision and management of occupational disease harm. Administration ofWork Safety of Guangdong Province decided to carry out investigations of stone processingindustry in Yunfu City, quartz sand industry processing in Heyuan City, gem processingindustry in Shanwei City, Ceramic manufacturing industry in Chaozhou City andunderground metal mining industry in Shaoguan City.Adopting the method of random survey to extract83enterprises from five key industriesof5cities which have been completed occupational diseases hazards work. The investigationobject specific distribution:19enterprises of stone processing industry, quartz sandprocessing industry,18enterprises of gem processing industry,19enterprises of ceramicproduction industry,9enterprises of city underground metal mining industry. Investigation ofdust hazard status was achieved by combination dust concentration detection andquestionnaire. The content of questionnaire survey: the basic situation of the enterprise, dustgeneration process status of the enterprise, the management occupational health, occupationalhealth education, occupation health surveillance situation, development situation of theoccupational health "three-simultaneity" etc. Field test: dust concentration and the free silicacontent detection in the workplace were after the field investigation.The data of field survey was analyzed by EXCEL and SPASS19.0software. Surveyresults showed that the dust situation hazard of5industries was very serious. By analyzing thereason of present status of the grim dust hazard situation, put forward effectivecountermeasures to dust hazards prevention and control. The dust hazards prevention andcontrol as follows.(1)Engineering measures of dust prevention and control. According to the currentsituation of production of5industries83enterprises, some engineering measures of dustprevention and control were provided. (2)Implement enterprise occupational health responsibility, strengthen the dustprevention and control work. Mainly from the following aspects, such as strengthening ofoccupational health "Three Prevention" work, occupational health "three simultaneous" work,occupational health training, occupational health care work and occupational disease harmfactor examination work to implement enterprise occupational health responsibility.(3)Increase occupational health investment, provide powerful support for the dustprevention and control work. Increase special funds of occupational health, guarantee thenormal dust prevention and control work; increase the occupational health managementpersonnel input, provide the personnel guarantee for dust control; increase the input oftechnology innovation, from the source to control dust occupational harm.
