Objective: Study the clinical efficacy of a small knife therapy treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Method:Observed in January2012-January2013to Urumqi Chinese Medicine Hospital orthopedic treatment in patients with knee OA,80cases were randomly divided into two groups to complete, including the treatment group of40patients, using a small knife treatment,1of1treatment, depending on the patient’s condition requires a small knife line treatment1to2courses; control group of40patients weekly intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate injection2ml:20mg/support each1, five weeks for a course; five weeks after the assessment of efficacy.Results:Through statistical analysis, clinical efficacy evaluation, the treatment group was significantly controlled75.0%of the control group was55.0%, P<0.05, there was a significant difference in the treatment group than the control group. Changes pain scores before and after treatment and symptom score values, the statistical treatment: namely P<0.0, there was a significant difference between the treatment group than the control group. Comparison of the efficacy of early disease by rank sum test, P>0.05, the treatment group and the control group had no significant difference; condition after the mid-late comparisons by rank sum test, P<0.05, the treatment group than the control group.Conclusion:Small knife therapy and knee injection of sodium hyaluronate therapy for the treatment of early osteoarthritis of the knee was no significant difference in efficacy; in the mid-and post-treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee, the knee was better than a small knife therapy articular injection of sodium hyaluronate therapy; reduce pain and symptom scores and scores of small knife therapy is superior to the knee joint cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate therapy.
