[Abstract] Objective:To evaluate the effect of conservative treatment and surgical treatment to distal radial fracture, in order to guide the treatment of distal radius fractures.Observed distal radial fracture effect, through its complete follow-up to evaluate the therapeutic effect, in order to guide the treatment of distal radius fractures. Methods:A retrospective analysis from January2010to December2012in Yangquan First People’s Hospital in Shanxi Province for treatment, the patient meets the inclusion criteria of the distal radius fractures108cases of data, including73patients with conservative treatment, surgical treatment35patients. According distal radial fractures AO classification principle, each group was divided into A-, B-, C-type fracture categories for different fracture types were given follow-up and comparison. The X-ray measurements and the final follow-up assessment PRWE wrist function score as the final efficacy evaluation criteria, giving statistical analysis to analyze whether the statistical difference.Restults X-ray measurements:Before treatment of palmar angle, ulnar deviation, radial height obvious difference (P>0.05). At the last follow-up, A-, B-fracture patients no significant difference (P>0.05) in ulnar deviation, palmar angle, radial height aspect. C-type fractures were significantly different in patients with ulnar deviation, palmar angle, radial height aspect (P<0.05), surgery may be considered the treatment group than in the conservative treatment group than indicators. PRWE function score:two sets A and B in patients with fractures PRWE at the last follow-up score was no significant difference (P>0.05), two treatment methods can be considered equivalent efficacy. C patients with fractures, which PRWE final follow-up scores were significantly different (P<0.05), surgery may be considered the treatment group than in the conservative treatment group indicator. Conclusions the X-ray evaluation after treatment, the distal radial fractures in type A and type B fractures fractures, what treatment methods chosen for the restoration and maintenance of the anatomy of the distal radius, especially ulnar deviation, palmar tilt and radial height aspect Both programs conservative treatment and surgical treatment of no significant difference. In patients with type C fractures, the surgical treatment was significantly better than patients with conservative treatment. In terms of functional recovery of the wrist. For patients with type A and type B fractures fractures, conservative treatment and surgical treatment, choice of treatment, the wrist is no significant difference in terms of functional recovery. For patients with type C fractures, surgical treatment was superior to conservative treatment. When selecting treatment options clinicians need a comprehensive, integrated, objective assessment of the patient’s condition Especially in patients with different every age differences, fracture type and extent of injury, the patient’s economic situation and the capacity of the cost of treatment and after treatment in patients with fractures of the requirements, and then choose an appropriate treatment. And the need to strengthen the limb functional training, as far as possible to help patients restore limb function.
