| The Eastern Jin Dynasty’ literature is an important part of Classical ChineseLiterature.Poems, especially the poetry on roaming as an immortal,the poetry of arcanediscourse and pastoral poetry have become the focus of the Eastern Jin Dynasty literatureresearch. While the study on the Eastern Jin Dynasty’Memorials to the throne, as an importantpart of the Eastern Jin Dynasty’prose, has been being long term in the doghouse, getting littleattention. So that there is no special academic works appearing about the Eastern Jin Dynasty’Memorials to the throne. This paper takes Jinshu and all the prose of Jin that edited by YanKejun as the main research object, mainly including Zou, Biao, Shu, Yi, Qi and other genretypes. According to the changes of the historical process and its theme, the research of theEastern Jin Dynast’Memorials to the throne is divided into three parts, the Early term of EasternJin,the Medium term of Eastern Jin and the Late term of Eastern Jin. The Early term (314-344)includes Yuandi, Mingdi, Chengdi, and Kangdi. The Medium term (345-372) includes Mudi,Aidi, Feidi, and Jianwendi. The Late term (373-420) includes Xiaowudi, Andi andGongdi. From the text, the author’s life experience and the historical background of eachperiod,the thesis seeks to make a comprehensive,systematic grasp and discussion on the contentand literariness of the Eastern Jin Dynast’Memorials to the throne through careful analysis,combing, inductive research. It is constituted by an introduction and four chapters.The introduction mainly discusses two problems: one is the reason for choosing the topic, theother is the Eastern Jin Dynast’memorials to the throne of range, size and periodization.The firstproblem focuses on Memorial’connotation and its research value. The second one brieflydiscusses the theme of the memorials, the size and the number of stages, which includes threeperiods.The first chapter discusses the main authors and the contents of the early memorials. Thetheme content of the memorials includes and many various types such as: Quanjin, Gratitude,Education, Politics, Military, Buddhism etc, almost covering all the basic types. The main writers consist of Liukun, Yuliang. The chief works compose of Liukun’Quan jin biao and Yu Liang’Rang zhong shu jian biao etc.The second chapter discusses the medium term memorials works of the major writers, andsystematically discusses the ideological content and artistic characteristics of Huanwen’smemorials. The major writers include Wangbiaozhi, Huanwen, Sunchuo etc, and the main worksconsist of Sunchao’Jian yi du luo yang shu, Huanwen’Jian qiao Yuan Yan biao etc.Third chapter mainly discusses the late term memorials works, including Politics, Economy,Gratitude, Li and other types. One of the main works is Yinzhongwen’Zui xin jie shang shubiao. Then it briefly discusses the creative achievements of the Eastern Jin Dynasty femalememorials. The female writers consist of Heqiao’wife Ms Yu and Fujian’concubine MsZhang. Their works convey sadness or give a statement of truth, adding a different kind of stylefor the memorials to the throne.The fourth chapter, based on the above analysis, discusses the literariness of the Eastern JinDynasty’Memorials to the throne. The literariness is mainly reflected in two aspects. The firstis the strengthening of the memorials’emotion.The second is the real and gorgeous literarystyles. With the Wei and Jin Dynasties scholars’awakening of self-consciousness, emotionfashion sprang up. Affected by this fashion, there are many memorials rich in emotion. In thearticle style, the Eastern Jin Dynasty Memorials’to the throne have both real and gorgeous styles,parallel developing at the same time. The major writers of rustic style consist of Yingzhan,Caimo, Guopu, Huanchong etc. The major writers of ornate style consist of Liukun, Huanwen,Fuliang and so on.... |
