Symptoms and recurrence was observed after stopping treatment. Results:Clinical and therapeutic effect of syndrome:From first week to third week, two groups of TCM syndrome score showed no significant difference (P>0.05); At fourth week, treatment with traditional Chinese medicine treatment group TCM syndrome score (3.35±3.08) is lower than that of the control group (4.95±4.41). The difference was statistically significant (P=0.026, P<0.05). After two weeks treatment, the effective rates of the two groups had no significant difference, P>0.05; Four weeks after the treatment, Chinese medicine treatment group TCM syndromes efficiency (94.1%) was higher than that of the control group of western medicine (81.8%). The difference was statistically significant (P=0.045,P<0.05) Four weeks after the treatment, Chinese medicine treatment group Gerd Q score (1.38±1.46) was lower than western medicine control group (2.55±3.80), the difference was statistically significant (P=0.000,P<0.05).This shows that in the short term the onset time of Chinese medicine treatment group and Western medicine control group is similar. With the extension of treatment time, treatment of traditional Chinese medicine began to show advantages. Chinese medicine treatment group curative effect is more lasting.Effect of individual symptoms:After four weeks of treatment, compared two groups of treatment of acid reflux symptoms, there was no significant difference (P>0.05); Treatment efficiency of two groups of treatment of acid reflux symptoms were80.0%/78.9%. Adverse events:During the treatment of Chinese medicine treatment group one patients appeared bloated aggravating, without special treatment, and then the symptoms disappeared. Western medicine control group had no adverse events.
