| A medical device is an instrument, implant, in vitro reagent, or similar or related article that is used for diagnose, prevent, treat disease or other conditions. It is a fundamental device for the use in various healthcare setting. However, the marketing of medical device industry has become more complex and challenging, due to a combination of different new technologies, the extensive use of software and networks applications for specific customers. There is also a demanding challenge in finding specialists to perform service on high-technics medical equipment and sales. According to a recent industry research report in China, the marketing of medical device industry is rapidly growing and the annual growth value has reached$200billion in the year2013. It is inevitable that China will become one of the largest healthcare consumption markets in the world, and it is important that the demand for1.3billion people is net in the next10to20years. Our study attended to summarize characteristics of global medical device industry and discuss the strategy of how to efficiently satisfy the substantial demand and improve manufacture and distribution of products, how to replace a variety of low priced, poor quality products by overall industry upgrading, accompanied by high-quality and effective new products. |
