Geography Xining City History Ming And Qing Dynasties

Xining is the capital of Qinghai province, the province’s economy, politics,culture, education, science and technology, transportation and trade center, have along history of more than2100years so far. Xining located in the eastern edge ofQinghai-tibet plateau, located in the heartland of Hehuang area, flat, pleasant climate,is one of the important towns connected to the central plains and the western region, isalso "Tang Fan gu" is the point in history. Xining since the western han dynasty set upxiping pavilion, while under the influence of political, military, economic and otheraspects has had some changes, but in the city of Xining city scale is constantlyexpanding. Because of Xining city is in the special geographic location, the militaryposition is very important, therefore in the urban construction reflects a lot of militarycharacteristics. City layout, also mainly military as the main object of consideration,the distribution of various agencies is relatively clear, except the administrativeinstitutions and education institutions more concentrated distribution, militaryinstitutions, temples and monasteries and market are more scattered distribution in thecity or the city, Ming and Qing dynasties of Xining city institutions change is not verybig, the Ming and Qing dynasties, education obtained the fast development of Xiningcity, on the basis of the development of Confucianism education appeared morecharacteristics of the hui nationality education.
