In teaching practice, preview that has been ignored by us actually is found playing an important role in classroom teaching quality. The concept of "preview" is more suitable for native language-based teaching and calling the "preview" in TCFL as "after-class preparation" is more suitable. The preparation before class, in fact, is a part of the "after-class" in the combination of in-class and after-class, the teaching concept. It conforms to the theory of TCFL, embodies the concept of "autonomous learning". The combination of task-based approach and after-class preparation provides a particular and effective operating method. At the same time, the combination can give full play to the advantages of task-based approach and make up for its limitations in practice. At meantime, it hopes to make teachers pay attention to the preparation before class and to present a practical, effective and easy to operate practice.Adopting the methods of investigation, documentation, comparative analysis and comprehensive analysis, this dissertation makes a thorough study of task-based preparation in four chapters. Chapter1tracks down the thesis topic reason, significance, research background, tasks and innovation. Chapter2probe into the essence, importance of preparation in TCFL, including the problem found in the teaching practice and theoretical analysis of the importance. Chapter3is mainly about task-based teaching approach. And the last chapter is about feasibility analysis and operation of task-based preparation. The operation is illustrated with teaching material. The conclusion part makes a brief discussion about the development trend in combination of in-class and after-class, the role of this study and outlook of the research.
