Research Of Homosexual’s Identification

With the development and progress of society, more and more homosexuals are living around us. They come into the public and don’t hide behind the crowd. As a vulnerable groups, their identity is a very important problem. Identity has always been a social concern, belongs to the category of sociology. Identity is a process of integrating individual confirmation of identity and cognition of the ownership group and the accompanying emotional experience and behavior pattern, individual and groups participate in the completion of the social integration by the social identity system. In some scene, homosexual identity is also a kind of fight, for the rights of discourse, love and so on. Due to the strengthening of social mobility, the definition of identity increasingly vague but also important. On the basis of previous research, referring to the process of the mechanism of homosexual identity development model proposed by Cass, through the feelings and life of the homosexual by interview and observation, having a research of the content, explore the homosexual identity process. Then through the analysis on homosexual self identity and social identity, put forward some thoughts, and according the interaction of homosexual self identity and social identity, describe the process and evolution of homosexual identity, enrich the research about homosexual identity.
