With the rapid development of the apparel industry and apparel manufacturingprocess have become increasingly demanding,the technology of traditional electronicsewing machine can not meet the needs of development.Based on this background.thetopic developed the needle bar rotary sewing machine which can achieve synchronousrotation of needle bar and shuttle bedstead,it has a high degree of automation andsolves the unsightly problem when the traditional sewing machine sew curve. In thispaper,the key technologies of structural design of the needle bar rotary sewing machineand synchronous control are studied,the main contents are as follows:Based on the overall design of head rotary sewing machine,this paper presented theoverall design of needle bar rotary sewing machine, focused on its total structure designand detailed exploded each module. According to the actual requirements of machine’swork,solved the insufficient motor power and inertia mismatch problems in servo motorselection.Focused on the vibration problems when the machine was under high gear,usedansys software to do modal analysis and harmonic response analysis for two key parts ofmachine,obtained its natural frequency, ensured the stability of the structure underdifferent conditions.Described the mechanical synchronization control of traditional sewing machine, byanalyzing the synchronization accuracy’s requirements of rotary sewing machine,basedon three kind of classic synchronization control scheme, Proposed the strategy of seriessynchronization control.Aided by pamaterm software of Panasonic,retested thesynchronization performance of the machine, verified that the plan is reasonable.Based on above design,after the debugging for equipment, oscillation significantlyreduced, synchronization accuracy improved,obtained beautiful curve’s stitches.
