With the rapid development of mining industry,although a large number of mineral resources exploitation can bring great economic benefits, but also may be associated with some environmental problems。In recent years, environmental issues have become increasingly prominent, in order to coordinate economic and environmental sustainable development, we need to make a scientific evaluation of the mine geological environment。Mineral resources in Panxi area is large area, the region is also development by the use of these mineral resources,but the mine geological disasters threaten the local people. Through the relevant data collection local geological environment, we combined with the method of domestic and foreign more mature, to the mine geological environment evaluation, provided scientific basis for the mine geological environment governance。In this paper, comprehensive collect and compiled geological environment data in Panxi area。Data were collected mainly from two aspects, one is the social attributes, such as: the level of local economic development, geographical conditions. On the other hand is the natural attributes, such as: the current situation of mine, resource damage, geological hazards and environmental pollution etc.Through the analysis of field investigation data of the geological environment of mine of Panxi area are more in-depth understanding, so as to get the basis of evaluation.Based on the actual situation of the collected data and mine geological environment in the study area, we evaluate indicator screening and optimization, the establishment of index system at different levels. To determine the weight of each index by the analytic hierarchy process, establish mathematical model of comprehensive evaluation of mine geological environment with comprehensive index method. Finally, the fractal classification of the study area, the completion of the Pan Xi area comprehensive evaluation of mine geological environment. The conclusions are as follows:(1) In previous work of comprehensive rating, hierarchies are subjective, not scientific and effective method, this paper based on multifractal method to evaluate quality of geological environment in Panxi region, to make up for the lack of the evaluation work of the past.(2) We set up a comprehensive evaluation index system of mine geological environment in Panxi, the study area was divided into four grades based on Fractal. This study divides the mine geological environment comprehensive evaluation into four levels: mine geology environmental seriously affected region, less seriously affected region, generally affected region and non-affected region.
