With the social progress and development of modern industry, composite material with good performance, light weight and other advantages have attracted more and more attention of people. Fiber reinforced composite materials as a kind of modern composite, because of its high strength, good performance mechanicalproperties of flexible design, fatigue resistance, good damping performance and many other advantages is widely used in medical, military, aerospace and engineering protection etc. Therefore how to weave performs for the fiber composite reinforced materials become a hot and difficult.Multi axis three-dimensional loom is studied in this paper, can be woven with planar oblique 3D textile composite yarn, in order to achieve the three-dimensional fabric isotropic properties in aerospace and other complex situations requirement. The multi-axis 3D oven fabric is different from other 3D fabric features, and oblique yarn is introduced multi-axial three-dimensional fabric is different from other 3D fabric features. This paper is to design the oblique yarn fabric on the upper and lower surface of fabric, and by the position and velocity control of the weft laying trolley we can realize oblique yarn from the angle of-45 degrees to +45 degrees change, and so that this increase the adaptability of three-dimensional fabric. This paper mainly studies the three-dimensional loom for weaving multi axial 3D fabric. The straight reciprocating motion mechanism of 3D loom, which is mainly derived by permanent magnet linear motor. The chain plate will convey 3D fabric to quilting region for knitting. Then the 3D fabric is winded on a cloth stick by take-up device.This paper analysis and compares several typical three-dimensional fabric structures, and committed to the fiber reinforced composite made up by multi axial three-dimensional warp knitted fabric forming. Further it puts forward the overall design scheme of multi axial warp knitting machine.Then according to the overall program, the let off mechanism, weft laying mechanism, quilting mechanism and take-up mechanism are designed and motion simulation are also done, and focus on the mechanism design and simulation of oblique weft yarn laying mechanism. Weft laying system is driven by a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor. Therefore, the 2D model of linear motor in Ansoft/Maxwell software is established, and the analysis of electromagnetic field carried on, and the motion of linear motor is simulated.After determining the motion stroke of knitting needle of quilting machine, the three-dimensional model of quilting machine is established in UG 8.0 soft-ware, and neutral file is imported into ADAMS software, and kinematics simulation of quilting machine is done, in order to determine the displacement and velocity curves of knitting needles in compliance with design requirements, After completion of the above work, 3D model assembly of each component of multi axial warp knitting is processed in UG 8.0 software, and static analysis and modal analysis of the important parts are done in ANSYSWorkbench14.5. and the motion simulation of the 3D model is done in ADAMS2013 software.Finally, the control system of multi-axis 3D warp knitting machine is designed by means of Lab VIEW software.
