Pharmaceutical industry has developped rapidly since the 20th century, which has great benefit to the human health. At the same time, the wastewater resulted to the environmental pollution, having serious threat to people’s health. Pharmaceutical wastewater contains lots of substances, which is complex with high concentration and salinity, great chromaticity and toxicity. It contains a great deal of organic pollutants, which is difficult to be biochemical degradated. How to treat these medicine organic wastewater is still a difficulty and focus in and out of world. The current wastewater treatment methods mainly include physicochemical method, chemical method, biological method and their collaborative process. Among them, people pay more pattention to the microelectrolysis and Fenton method, K2FeO4 method, but they still exist several disadvantages. This topic aims to improve this method, combining the advantages of effervescent tablets in the pharmacy. To make effervescent tablets used for wastewater treatment is the long aim. It has not reported and researched about this kind of composite oxide particles, which will be a new topic in pharmaceutical wastewater treatment field. The first chapter summarized the characteristics of current pharmaceutical wastewater, and explore the situation and database at home and abroad, analyzing the problems of various wastewater treatment method, in order to determine the significance of study, content and meaning for further research. In the second chapter, the treatment of organic wastewater by iron-carbon microelectrolysis method was studied. The influence of the mass ratio of iron to carbon, the original pH value, the residence time, and aeration on the treatment effect were studied. The best experiment conditions was obtained. In the third chaper, the treatment of organic wastewater by Fenton oxidation was studied. The influences of pH, the dosage of H2O2, the dosage of FeSO2, reaction time, aeration effect were studied, and the optimal technical factors were obtained. The results showed that the Fenton oxidation method can be combined with microelectrolysis with good treating effect. In the fourth chapter, the method of combining potassium ferrate and Effective Microorganisms (EM) was studied, through the single factor experiment, and inspected the initial pH value, dosage of potassium ferrate, reaction time, aeration, secondary treatment, the dosage of activated carbon and EM bacteria influence on treatment effect. Optimum technological method was used to handle simulative dyeing wastewater. The fifth chapter made the preparation of potassium ferrate effervescent tablets, and preliminary discussed the parameter of effervescent tablets, such as the ratio of various raw materials, the use of acid-base species. The preparation technology was evaluated by the stability, hardness, disintegration time, weight difference, foaming capacity and sewage effect index. Generally speaking, the effervescent tablets were in accordance with the requirements of treating wastewater with good stability, making a great reference to the future.
