Glass is an important resource for building and decorations used in vehicles, furniture, crafts and so on. There are great differences between domestic product and the alien’s in the aspect of function, precision, speed and reliability now, domestic most glass-cutting machines are imported equipments, many companies adopt alien controller and control software, lack of self-developed products. Therefore it is important to develop glass processing motion control system dependently and it will greatly improve international competitive strength of domestic glass machine manufacturer.Based on Gugao GTS control card, this dissertation designs hardware solutions of glass processing motion control system, deeply studies the key technologies of search edge, path optimization and dual-axis synchronization, proposes overall solutions for glass processing motion control system. Innovations of this dissertation include:(1)Propose and implement a high-speed method with hardware capture to search the edges, this method removes the random error of the glass edge by four points correction model, and gets higher accuracy edges.(2)Optimize the cutting path based on TSP algorithm, and achieve a cutting path optimization based on GTS control card, improve cutting efficiency.(3)For large gantry structure cutting machine, propose and implement a dual X-axis synchronization strategy based on GTS control card, according to systematic bias of factory setting, synchronize the double X-axis when the system powered on, improve cutting accuracy.
