The mechanical vibration exists in the industrialize manufacture, but the mechanical vibration of cold rolling mill has bad effect on the thickness accuracy and the surface quality. When the mechanical vibration is strong, it can destroy the components and parts, reduce the machine lifetime, and even threaten the life safety of workers.Many scholars had researched on the vibration of rolling mill for the past several decades, and made many great achievements, but now the appearance of vibration coupling is measured on the work rolls interface of cold rolling mill. While the vibration coupling mechanism is not very clear, and it is necessary to study the vibration coupling mechanism of the cold rolling mill.In the paper, the study object is the F4 cold rolling mill of Han Gang cold rolling plant, and analyzed the coupled vibration appearance of work rolls of the cold rolling mill. Here are the concrete work as follow below:(1) Established three kinds of vibration model about work rolls, which are the horizontal vibration model, the vertical vibration model and the torsional vibration model. Moreover, calculated the parameters data based on the relative theory and knowledge. At last, calculated the natural frequency and the modal of the three kinds of non-damping free vibration model by using MATLAB.(2) Established the coupled vibration model about work rolls of cold rolling mill, and then established the coupled vibration differential equation of the model in virtual force law, at last calculated the coupled frequency and modal of the coupled vibration model. And analyzed the comparison with natural frequency of the three kinds of vibrations; Made the modal analysis of the assembly model, the complete main drive system(including work rolls), the middle rolls, the support rolls and the rack of cold rolling mill by using software ANSYS Workbench. The results show that the simplified model and the results of cold rolling mill is right.(3) Based on the differential equation of coupled vibration, simulate the interact on different vibrations by using the data processing ability of MATLAB; And because the stiffness has measurable impact on vibration, analyzed the change of the coupled vibration under the different structural stiffness and the different coupled stiffness and proposed the measures on coupled vibration eliminator.(4) According to the proposed measure in suppression of coupled vibration, to simulate the vibration of work rolls under different horizontal stiffness by using dynamic analysis software ADAMS, and then make the chart and analyzed them, found that the measure can suppress the coupled vibration in some content.(5) Because of the coupled vibration system is complex and is hard to recoupling, make a simplified coupled vibration model and build the space condition equations and analyze the characteristics. Design the recoupling system of the coupled vibration by using the similar feedforward recoupling method, and build the simulation platform by Simulink and simulate the different vibration under simple force(torque),found that the recoupling method is convenient and effective.
