China is a development of economic body, the requirement of tufting carpet is large in our country. Researchers in China have used many years to do research on carpet tufting machines. Many other key technologies have been worked out, like jacquard technology for multi-level loop carpet tufting machine, however, most parties of the machines can only be adjusted digitally Part of the technological Parameters, so the whole machine’s flexibility is very limited. So the carpet tufting machine’s control system of integration becomes an urgent problem. This thesis takes this problem as the research object and makes the modularity of whole machine to be the principle line, and does some works with typical function module of the carpet tufting machine control system, like analyzing, improving and designing.Base on the analysis of the structure and function of existing control systems, this thesis rebuilds the whole structure of the upper and lower computers, uses OPC technology to achieve communication between upper and lower computers, completes the whole PC monitoring system’s detail of control system design, and completes PC monitoring system software development and debugging in the.NET development platform. The main works during the research are as follow:(1) The structure of control system design. By studying the carpet tufting principle and tufting carpet production process, according to design requirements of the whole carpet tufting machine and its PC software, and according to the actual needs of field production and commissioning, carpet tufting machine PC software was completed module division, PC real-time monitor system based on OPC communication technology was completed overall scheme design.(2) Carpet tufting machine PC software data structural analysis and design. Extraction and processing module design of carpet pattern was done, including extracting image size data and the total color category. Specifically, data was extracted from the specific color of each pixel, and then the fast and accurate algorithm was written, and the data instruction required for each action of the carpet tufting machine’ the whole process was integrated. Access to get the motor control algorithm, through studying the ratio Relationship between the servomotor and spindle motor in the carpet loop weaving process, motor control module design was completed.(3) Monitoring system based on the OPC communication technology of the carpet tufting machine design. According to the features of Jacquard control system and the overall Program of real-time monitor system, a new type of online monitor system of servomotor based on OPC communication technology was designed, Including parameters online reading system, on-line monitor and data analysis, and real-time monitor over servomotor of tufting machine. The real-time monitor system facilitated the installation, debugging and fault diagnosis of servomotor in tufting machine.Carpet tufting machine software by using VB.NET has been successfully developed, and on-site installation and commissioning have been completed. The problems of rewritten interface program brought by system update and other issues have been reduced. Data transmission efficiency has been improved, and the factory achieved good economic benefits.
