In recent years,with further exacerbation of environmental pollution,more and more research institutions devote to the detection of odorous gases.However,conventional gas detection system just can detect a single gas and it is not good at detecting composite malodorous gases.Therefore, we design and built a malodorous gas detection system based on multi-sensor array.Due to the system uses a variety of gas sensors to detect,the acquisition and processing of different sensor output is the key of development of system.For handling multiple sensor output signals reasonably, this subject develops a monitoring software based on multi-sensor array malodorous gas detection system.This system uses a PC-MCU mode,using MCU as console computer control core to collect and pro-processing the data.The monitoring software of this subject developing runs with this MCU to process and transmit the data.For different output of different gas sensors,this software designs baseline adjustment program and gain adjustment program to handle signal. In order to simplify subsequent signal processing,the two parts of this software are designed to turn the signal of collecting to amplitude normalization signal.The gas signal changes slowly and always be sampled by system together with high-frequency noise.So the software designs a low-pass filter to process the data.Due to the data processing capability of the console computer is limited,we can not design a complex digital filter to process the data.The infinite impulse response digital filter is good at simulating low-pass filtering function and it works well when the sensor signal changes very slowly.So we use it to filter signal.In order to achieve data transmission with the host computer,the software is also designed to communicate with the host computer.The program uses the MCU serial interrupt to receive commands sent by the host and perform the corresponding operation.Currently the prototype program has been able to work.A lot of experiments show that the practicability and stability of program is good.Especially,the approach of handling different gas signal has some reference value and application prospects.
