In the production of blast furnace, the hot blast stove is an important equipment for heating the blast furnace. Increasing the hot blast temperature is beneficial to the normal and high efficiency of the blast furnace production process, meanwhile, it can save energy consumption and reduce the cost of iron making and so on. The traditional hot air furnace combustion control process has some problems, the difficulty lies in the control of the process is complex, the adjustment lag and so on. In short, how to control the dome temperature accurately and reasonably in the process of combustion is important.Firstly from the steel dragon in an actual project, analyzes the control process of hot blast stove process requirements; the hot blast stove control system’s overall structure, software and hardware configuration,completes the design of the lower computer system, including S7-400 H PLC master station, four ET-200 M remote station.implements the change of the surface of the upper monitoring system including hot blast stove of general appearance, a single stove operation.Secondly, the combustion process has the characteristics of nonlinearity, hysteresis, time variation, and it is difficult to establish accurate mathematical model. The system requires the vault temperature to be controlled accurately and effectively, so the conventional PID control effect is not good. Analysis of the characteristics of the temperature of the dome roof, combined with the advantages of good dynamic performance and robustness of fuzzy PID control. Therefore, the roof temperature control system based on fuzzy PID is designed,and the scheme is feasible.Finally, the fuzzy PID algorithm is appled in the PLC control system. Generates a fuzzy control rule table in Matlab, and is stored in the data block of STEP7 off-line. STEP7 software in the preparation of modular program, to achieve the application of fuzzy PID control algorithm in the project.
