Serum CA199, CA125and CA242Detection In Diagnosis Of Pancreatic Carcinoma

Objective: To investigate the clinical value of tumor marker CA199, CA125,CA242levels in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.Methods: In our study, we measured46cases of hospitalized patients withpancreatic cancer，32cases of pancreatitis disease and36cases of health to detectCA199, CA125, CA242serum levels in our hospital between June2011and June2013.Results: In the group of patients with pancreatic cancer, CA242and CA199serumvalues had significantly higher than the pancreatitis and normal control group(P<0.05). But there was no significant difference between the pancreatitis groupand the normal control group (P>0.05). CA125serum levels were significantlyhigher (P <0.05), but the serum levels of CA125group also had significantly higherpancreatitis and pancreatic cancer is poor compared with no significant (P>0.05)..Susceptibility of tumor marker CA199was85.533%, CA242was75.890%, CA125was62.373%; specificity of tumor markers: CA242in terms of specificity wassignificantly higher than CA199, CA125(P <0.05), CA242sensitive areas: CA242,CA199was no significant difference (P>0.05). Different combinations of threemarkers combined detection sensitivity: CA199+CA24(94.875%), CA199+CA242+CA125(93.238%) is higher. Specificity: CA199+CA242+CA125specificity highest94.595%, CA199+CA242ranked second, to93.243%, but nosignificant difference (P>0.05) between the two.Conclusion:(1). Pancreatic tumor marker CA242, CA199testing can be used as amethod for early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Although not more excellent thanCA199, but specificity of excellent of CA242was significantly better thanCA199.(2).Separate detection of CA125in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer has noobvious clinical significance.(3). CA242and CA199are preferred combinations joint detection, combined detection of CA242, CA199can improve the efficiency ofdiagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
