| ObjectiveBy using the prospective controlly method of clinical study, we observate the curative effect on the improvement of clinical symptomsã€disease coursesã€antibiotic treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children with two kinds of treatment methods, which one is modified maxingshigan decoction combined with azithromycin, other one is azithromycin only, to find a better treatment on mycoplasma pneumonia in children.MethodsSelect60qualified cases which are sick children with mycoplasma pneumonia in2013August to2014January and treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine’s outpatient department or inpatient department. By using the prospective controlly method of clinical study, divide the60cases into treatment group and contrast group,30cases each group. Use oral azithromycin with a daily dose of Chinese herbal medicine in the treatment group during the first1-3days, the4-14days only a daily dose of Chinese medicine, a total of2weeks of treatment;the contrast group: use oral azithromycin in the1-3day and8-10day, a total of2weeks of treatment, and evaluate these two treatments through the improvement of the symptom integral the clinical symptoms, and see whether there is a cough persisting after the end of treatment,etc, with the mathematical theory.Results1.The treatment group in the treatment of seventh days, fourteenth days, were statistically significant different from the contrast group on the symptom integral (P<0.01), which mean the treatment group improved symptom integral significantly better than the contrast group.2. By comparing the coughingã€fever onset time of two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01), which mean the treatment group in improving symptoms of fever, cough are better than the contrast group.3. By comparing the effects of the two groups for seventh days, fourteenth days, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01), which mean the treatment group in the curative effect was significantly better than the contrast group.4. Through the follow-up period observation, the treatment group in the cough persisting occurrence rate is significantly smaller than that of the contrast group (P=0.02), while the new occurrence on respiratory tract infection has a similar rate of these two groups within a month after the treatment (P=0.347).Conclusion1Modified Maxingshigan decoction combined with azithromycin in the treatment can obviously improve the symptom integral in children with wind-heat Mycoplasma pneumonia.2Using the method combined with traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment, compared with the pure western medicine treatment, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs, and can shorten the course of disease, achieve high cure rate in the children with mycoplasma pneumonia.3In the traditional Chinese medicine therapy, shorten the course of treatment with azithromycin, does not increase the recurrence of pneumonia, new occurrence on respiratory tract infection, also can reduce the probability of occurrence of persistent cough. |
