| ObjectiveThrough analyzing the chronological age, age of onset, gender, birth process, complications of children with Tourette Syndrome, this study investigated the correlation factors of children with Tourette Syndrome. According to holism and treatment based on syndrome differentiation in TCM theory system, this study observed symptoms of children with Tourette Syndrome, and induced its common type to provide guidance to clinical treatment and to improve the chance of rehabilitation.MethodsWe filled in correlation factors questionnaires and syndrome observation tables for the142children with Tourette Syndrome who are in accordance with the inclusion criteria. Statistics of the frequency of related factors, symptoms and symptom pattern of the children with Tourette Syndrome would be done. The higher frequency of related factors would be preliminary discussed, and the frequently witnessed syndrome would be induced. Chi-square test would be used to compare the distribution difference of gender in TCM syndrome types of children with Tourette Syndrome, and Analysis of Variance would be used to compare the distribution difference of the onset age in TCM syndrome types of children with Tourette Syndrome.Results(1)General situation of children with Tourette Syndrome:The average age of children with Tourette Syndrome is9.606±0.2201years old.
